Bayya hospital, Guntur is a private enterprise incorporated in 1988 with a promising venture by dedicated doctor Bayya Srinivasa Rao who is renowned for his quality medical and surgical services and who has trained more than 45 young ENT surgeons all over AP.

In 2012 Dr Bayya Sudhir joined Bayya ENT  and is managing the hospital. Dr Sudhir has undergone hearing implant (Cochlear implant, baha attract, osia implant, Bone bridge) training at Sydney, Melbourne, Paris and is one of the youngest ENT surgeon to start and complete more than 700 implants currently. He was trained in Coblator surgeries for snoring and sleep apnea disorders at Adelaide, Australia. He did Facial plastic surgery course from Seoul, Korea under Dr. Jung. Attended many implant workshops, advanced surgical training courses at Paris, San Francisco, ESPCI Toulouse, London, Jakarta, Switzerland, Japan, Malaysia etc. He is well trained in the recent field of endoscopic ear surgery. His main interests are hearing implantation surgeries, facial cosmetic surgeries, reconstructive ear surgeries, skull base surgeries.

Under their supervision hospital is ever changing to meet the ever-growing needs of our patients. Our hospital was started with an objective of providing affordable yet quality medical and surgical care to every individual. The hospital is at the center of hospital hub locality in Guntur and very well connected by rail and road. The out-patient department has – HD video endoscopy rooms, microscopy room,  OCT angio, zeiss multi pattern laser for retina rooms dedicated for diagnosis of various ear, nose and throat, eye & retina conditions. 

We are tied up with Embyosis laboratories which is fully equipped for all types of blood investigations, Radiology, Clinical Laboratory, Allergic testing and Electrocardiograms.

We are also tied up with AMPLIFON a hearing solution company founded in Milan, Italy. It is equipped with Cochleo Vestibular Lab– equipped with the most advanced diagnostic equipment in Hearing diagnosis (Audiometry, OAE, BERA, ASSR, VEMP) and hearing solutions. We have two inhouse well experienced msc audiologists who work around the clock taking care of our patients hearing needs. We have one of the best soundproof rooms and patient hearing aid fitting chambers available in our audiology department.

We are privileged to be associated with kiran speech therapy center having an excellent team of skilled audio-verbal therapists. Who take care of our implant children from switch on, regular mapping. Our implanted kids are provided with an immediate spare implant accessories, loaners till their devices are serviced, so that kids dont have to loose their accustomed hearing even a single day.

It is one of the primary ENT Hospitals in India to have Smith & Nephew Coblation Technology for Tonsils, Adenoid operations, and Snoring Surgery.

We also have a Snoring Lab or Sleep Lab with complete solutions for snoring including diagnosis and the latest advanced treatments for snoring with the gold standard Diagnostic Polysomnography, Advanced Smith & Nephew\Arthocare Coablation Technology, USA.

We were the first private ENT institute to be recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the Arogyasri scheme and only hospital to have ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons) Scheme recognized by the Disability Division in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in the new state of Andhra Pradesh. We started our cochlear implant program in the year 2007, we have completed more than 1200 successful cochlear implant surgeries in our hospital. we are proud to say we were the first institute to start this cochlear implant program in the new state of Andhra Pradesh and first single specialty hospital in combined state of AP at that time to start this prestigious program.  

Dr Swetha.S has started ophthalmology wing from Jan 2021, she is specialized in Cataract and medical Retina. She was awarded GOLD MEDAL in OPHTHALOMOLGY (Dr C Mangaiah Sarma Memorial prize)under NTR UNIVERSITY .She was the only student to get MS GOLD MEDAL in department of ophthalmology at NRI medical college till date awarded to her by NTR health university and was awarded the best outgoing student from Andhra Pradesh in 2015. She was awarded GOLD MEDAL (Dr. Chintala Sita Devi and Dr.Raja Ram Mohan Reddy Medal) in PATHOLOGY(MBBS) and GOLD MEDAL (Dr.Kurli Sankar Award) in PHARMACOLOGY(MBBS).We have the best state-of-the-art zeiss Germany Equipment-Cirrus OCT with OCT Angio and Zeiss multi pattern laser, the best surgical microscope in ophthalmology-Zeiss Lumera I microscope with a state-of-the-art laminar theater with advanced Phaco machine (LEGION ). Dr swetha has a work experience(FELLOWSHIP UVEITIS AND MEDICAL RETINA) in LV Prasad eye hospital-Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. She has done PHACO training ICARE  HOSPITAL ,NOIDA , other advanced eye surgical training programs. She does frequent eye camps and does free cataract surgeries to underprivileged patients. 

The Hospital is self-equipped with 2 latest laminar airflow theatres and one non laminar theatre.

The Hospital has empaneled with companies both from corporate and government organizations, allowing people working with these companies to come to the hospital for treatment. We have tie up with many TPA and health insurance companies to provide many cash less in patient services.

We were the first hospital to start and successfully complete 1400 cochlear implants as of 2024 April in 13 districts of newly formed Andhra Pradesh By Dr Bayya Srinivasa Rao and  Dr Bayya Sudhir and our number is steadily increasing.
